Hafu was introduced to the popular MMORPG World of Warcraft during her high school days. She soon became a top player in the game and went on to appear in several esports tournaments, such as Major League Gaming. Sometime later, World of Warcraft introduced an expansion that greatly changed the game. This led to Hafu losing her interest in the MMORPG and she soon shifted to another PvP game named Bloodline Champions.

Hafu was initially hesitant towards joining Twitch and wanted to continue as a professional gamer. However, after some convincing from her friend and prominent Twitch star HD Starcraft, she decided to join the platform in 2012. Her first stream amassed over 3k views, which motivated her to continue streaming on the platform. She gradually became a popular streamer on Twitch and went on to amass over a million followers.

She created her self-titled YouTube channel in May 2015. Her first video was titled “Hearthstone: E-Sports (Stream Highlight).” She mostly posts video game content which is enjoyed by thousands of her fans on YouTube.

Hafu was born on April 18, 1991, in Newton, Massachusetts. Her family later moved to Lexington where she grew up. She briefly attended Bentley University before dropping out to focus full-time on gaming. There is not much information available about her family and parents. Her zodiac sign is Aries.

According to Hafu, her parents were initially not in favor of her gaming career. But they later came to accept her choice when they saw her success as a professional gamer. Being a female player, Hafu often became a target of misogyny by other male players in esports tournaments. During one such tournament, a group named their team "Gonna Rape Hafu at Regionals." Hafu has often called out the prevailing sexism in the domain of video games.

She is married to fellow Twitch star David "DogDog" Caero.
