Felipe Neto is a Brazilian entrepreneur, vlogger, actor, comedian, and writer. He is best known for posting interesting videos on his YouTube channel which has millions of subscribers. His channel is currently the 24th most-subscribed YouTube channel in the world. His self-titled channel also has the distinction of being the first YouTube channel in Brazil to reach one million subscribers. In 2011, Neto founded a company called ‘Paramaker’ which went on to become Brazil’s largest YouTube network with thousands of channels. One of the company’s most famous channels ‘Parafernalha’ currently has millions of subscribers. Felipe Neto is the recipient of many prestigious awards. He won his first major award in 2010 when he was honored with the ‘MTV Video Music Brazil’ award under the ‘Web Star’ category. In 2017, he won the ‘Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards’ for ‘Favorite Men YouTuber.’
Childhood & Early Life
Felipe Neto was born Felipe Neto Rodriguez Vieira on January 21, 1988, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Since he was born to a Portuguese mother and Brazilian father, he is a citizen of both Brazil as well as Portugal.
Neto started working at a young age as he was born into a poor household. He started working at a local store at the age of 13. Simultaneously, he also started attending theatre classes as he was always passionate about performing arts.
At the age of 14, he started a company which went bankrupt soon after coming into existence. He created his YouTube channel on May 15, 2006. However, he did not post anything on it until April 2010.

Felipe Neto started posting videos on YouTube, in 2010. His videos became popular in Brazil, so much so that they had collected more than 60 million views by November 2010. After becoming a successful YouTuber in Brazil, Neto landed opportunities to appear in advertising campaigns of famous brands. Subsequently, he went on to become the face of many brands in Brazil. He made his TV debut in December 2010, when he became part of a television show titled ‘Será Que Faz Sentido?’ The following year, he won a couple of awards, including the ‘vlogger of the year’ award at ‘YouPIX.’
In 2011, he founded ‘Paramaker’ in an attempt to change the landscape of Brazilian entertainment. In 2017, he won the ‘Favorite Men YouTuber’ award at the prestigious ‘Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards’ (Brazil).
From 2017 to 2018, he appeared as himself in the theatre production of ‘Felipe Neto Mega Fest.’ In 2018, he played Billy Bold in a movie titled ‘Tudo Por Um Pop Star.’ In the same year, he came up with his autobiography, ‘A Vida Por Trás das Câmeras.’ Felipe Neto is also popular on other social media platforms, such as Instagram and Twitter where he has millions of followers.
In 2014, Felipe Neto announced that he would be attending a three week course at the ‘Harvard University.’ The objective of attending the three week course was to learn the nuances of entrepreneurship. Neto has a younger brother named Luccas Neto Ferreira. Luccas is also popular on YouTube, and his channel is the 43rd most-subscribed YouTube channel.
