Dante Williams rose to fame with his TikTok and You Tube account. On his TikTok account @dtay.known, he primarily posts original dance videos, comedy skits and mini-vlogs and has, over the period of time, gained more than 14.6 million fans. Amongst his popular videos is the one which was titled Tutting Challenge Gone Wrong and which he created in response to the Tutting Challenge.

He joined You Tube in September 2014 and uploaded his first video, Whip Dance to I K Camp – Slum Anthem I, the same month. He became more consistent in posting videos in 2018. Initially, he created a variety of trendy videos, such as dances, challenges, reaction videos and vlogs; however, he really became famous after he began focusing on comedy content. He is also popular for featuring many popular songs parody videos on his channel. In 2018, he released his single For Da Dash and uploaded its video Dtay Known - For Da Dash (prod. CorMill) on his channel.

The most popular video of the channel, Dtay Known, is Us Parody which has been viewed over 26 million times. The channel is subscribed by more than 2.13 million people.

He launched his secondary channel, More of Dtay Known, in May 2019 and posted his first video Dtay.Known Funny TikTok Videos - Ep. 1 in March 2020. This channel has over 1.81 million subscribers

Dante Williams was born on 4 February 1998, in the United States of America. He has a younger brother named Devin who is also a popular social media personality with over 3.4 million fans on TikTok.

For his education, he attended the Heritage High School and thereafter joined the University of North Carolina at Charlotte to pursue further studies. He graduated in 2020.

He enjoys playing basketball and has a pet golden doodle named Charley Williams.
