Dakotaz Bio

Dakotaz created his YouTube channel in January 2013 and his first video went up within that month. He also set up his Twitch account in that month. Initially, he streamed and uploaded content of him playing ‘War-Z’ and ‘Clearview PVP’ video games. He also made content in which he made announcements. Soon enough, he began to garner a loyal following. He accumulated his first 30,000 followers from uploading ‘Clearview PVP’ videos and then proceeded to try playing Infestation. It was during the period when he played Infestation that he discovered H1Z1 and The Forest. Those games helped him gain more followers. Dakotaz then came across ‘PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds’. However, his PUBG gaming didn’t attract that much attention.

When Dakotaz began playing Fortnite, he had only 100,000 followers on Twitch and about 90,000 subscribers on YouTube. The video game ‘Fortnite’ was released in July 2017. Developed by Epic Games, there are two modes of ‘Fortnite’: ‘Fortnite: Save the World’ and ‘Fortnite Battle Royale’. ‘Save the World’ is a shooter-survival game, in which a group of up to four players fight off zombie-like beings and protect objects with fortifications that they can construct whereas ‘Battle Royale’ is a free-to-play game, in which up to 100 players can participate. Both the games were critically and commercially successful and earned multiple accolades.
