Candice King is an American actress who walked up the stardom status playing the role of Caroline Forbes in the super hit CW series ‘The Vampire Diaries’. Though Candice achieved fame as an actor, she first started out her career as a singer. In 2009, she released her debut album ‘It’s Always the Innocent Ones’ in United States. For it, she penned twelve out of the fourteen tracks in the album. Simultaneously, she worked on her acting career as well, guest starring in a couple of shows including ‘How I Met Your Mother’ and ‘Greek’. Though her career was going steady, the big breakthrough eluded her until she was cast in the CW series ‘The Vampire Diaries’. Almost instantly, the show made her a household name. Candice King was lauded her for brilliant acting and outstanding performance. She reprised her role for all the eight seasons of the show that lasted for 171 episodes. She was also seen playing her recurring role on the spin-off series 'The Originals' in 2018, and 'Legacies' in 2021.
