Brittany Noelle Uomoleale is an American actress who rose to fame after appearing in the TV series, ‘GLOW’. Playing a recurring character in the first season of the critically acclaimed Netflix series, Glow, Baron impressed the creators and runners sufficiently to get top billing in the show’s second season run. With the show being renewed for a third season, Britt seems destined for greater successes in the world of entertainment. Baron’s acting career started with voiceover work. After lending her voice for a slew of video games, including ‘Halo 5’ and ‘Meshes of the Desk’, she went on to be a part of the animated television series, ‘Halo: The Fall of Reach’. She gained wider public recognition following an appearance in Chicago PD in 2015 and later in the medical drama, ‘Grey’s Anatomy.’ It was followed by a role in GLOW, with which she managed to become the talk of the town and attracted media attention. Since appearing in GLOW, she was seen in the mini-series, ‘Rob Riggle’s Ski Master Academy’, as Brit Brit Hamsteak and in the short films, ‘Static’ and ‘Mad’.

Career
Brittany Baron grew up in Connecticut and loved to act as a child. She was drawn to male roles. However, her mother did not let her pursue it professionally as she wanted Brittany to lead a normal life. Despite that, her passion couldn’t be contained, and she ended up playing various roles in school plays and community theaters. Her passion continued well into her adult years as she decided to study Performance and Communication at the University of Michigan. After graduating with a degree in Fine Arts, she immersed herself into theatre and started working with the Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Chicago. She appeared in many plays of the company, most notably, ‘East of Eden’ and ‘Grand Concourse’. Brittany wanted more roles and bigger presence, hence, she decided to move to Los Angeles to try her luck in screen writing.
Her arrival in Los Angeles also helped her get her debut role on the silver screen. She was seen in various TV series, such as ‘Jennifer Falls’, ‘Halo: The Fall of Reach’, ‘Chicago PD’ and ‘Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.’ She also had a minor role in the movie, ‘Meshes of Dusk’ (2015), and dabbled in voice acting for video games, such as ‘Halo 5: Guardians’, ‘Skylanders: Imaginators’ and ‘Dishonored 2’. However, she was noticed only after she appeared in the award-winning medical drama ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ as Mary Parkman in the episode, ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’. Around the same time, she decided to audition for a comedy-drama series about amateur wrestlers named, ‘Glow’. Her love for the script and the role ensured that she gave her best audition. She wanted to do something different and choreographed an original fighting sequence with over the top expressions. Her dedication paid off and she landed the role of Justinie Biagi/Scab in the series. The series went on to become her breakthrough and she became famous overnight.
‘GLOW’ was released on Netflix in June 2017 and contained 10 episodes. She starred alongside other famous actors like Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin and Sydelle Noel. The unique story of the series attracted many viewers and they loved the show for its strong plotline. The overwhelmingly positive response ensured that the series was scheduled for another season. The second season was released in June 2018 and was equally successful. Critics noted Baron’s exemplary performance and praised her maturity as an actress. The series has been renewed for the third season and is expected to release in August 2019. Since working in ‘GLOW’, Brittany has appeared in many more dramas, including ‘Lucifer’. In 2018, she starred in the movie ‘Bushwick Beats’ as Sadie. She is currently a recurring character in the comedy web series ‘Rob Riggle's Ski Master Academy’ in which she plays the role of Brit Brit Hamsteak.
Brittany is active on social media, including Instagram where she connects with her fans. She currently has over 40,000 followers and regularly posts photographs of her adventures in real life. Brittany Noelle Uomoleale was born on October 16, 1995 in White Plains, New York. She spent most of her early years in Connecticut. She is a very reserved person and has not revealed any details about her relationships. In her spare time, she loves solving puzzles, playing board games and taking long walks. She also loves reading books and cites J. D. Salinger and Elizabeth Gilbert as her favorite authors. In particular, she loved the novels, ‘Franny and Zoey’ and ‘Big Magic.’ She recently adopted a seven-year old dog and named him Remy.
