Betsy Russell, born as Elizabeth Russell, is an American actress best known for playing the role of Jill Tuck in the ‘Saw’ film series and for appearing in the movies ‘Private School’ and ‘Tomboy’. Her other film credits include 'Avenging Angel' , 'Cheerleader Camp', 'Delta Heat', 'Chain Letter' and 'My Trip Back to the Dark Side'. The actress has also guest-starred in a number of TV shows including 'The Powers of Matthew Star', 'The A-Team', 'Murder, She Wrote', 'Superboy' and 'Platypus Man'. She has contributed to a handful of television movies as well, the popular ones being ‘Roxanne: The Prize Pulitzer’, ‘Mandrake’ and ‘Non-Stop’. After this, she did the flick ‘Private School’. Then she appeared in the series ‘The A-Team’ and ‘Adrian Prescott’. In 1985, the actress was cast in the movies ‘Avenging Angel’, ‘Tomboy’ and ‘Out of Control’.   • Betsy Russell was born as Elizabeth Russell on September 6, 1963 in San Diego, California, USA, to Constance and Richard Lion Russell. Her maternal grandfather, Max Lerner, was a journalist and educator. She has a brother and three sisters. Russell attended Mission Bay High School and graduated from there in 1981. She then studied at the University of Santa Monica for a master’s degree in spiritual psychology. She is also a certified hypnotist and well as a life coach.
  • In August 1988, the actress got engaged to American actor Vincent Van Patten. The couple got married on May 27, 1989 in North Hollywood and had two sons, Richard Van Patten and Vincent Van Patten, Jr. The couple got divorced in 2001.
