Aphmau initially started her YouTube channel with assistance from her four friends, Calvin, Jason, Chris, and Cole who would pitch in at times. They named the channel Challenge Accepted Inc. and it was created with lots of hopes. However, like every successful venture that has a story of struggles, this channel too went through a rough phase when Calvin, Chris and Cole left. Now only Aphmau and Jason were left to build this channel together and they sure did a fantastic job. The influence she had on the youth out there was so huge that in a span of four years she had over 2.5 million subscribers. She currently has 17 million subscribers on YouTube. She uploads roleplay videos of Minecraft Diaries series, Dreams of Estorra, Minecraft Kindergarten, MyStreet, Phoenix Drop High, Mod Mod World, and Meteora Valley.

Aphmau loves connecting with her fans and holds regular Question & Answer sessions. She has built such a strong relationship with her fans that they eagerly wait for her to upload her next video. With a large fan following on various social media platforms, Aphmau is a star who is here to stay. She has 940,000 followers on Instagram; 386,000 followers on Twitter and 208,000 fans on TikTok.

Apart from being a fabulous YouTuber, Aphmau also has her own online merchandizing brand that sells really cool accessories and apparels for men, women, and kids. From T-shirts to sweatshirts to hoodies, her store has it all. She has a dream of making it big in the online industry, and her merchandise brand is helping her get closer to achieving her dream.

Aphmau was born on October 16, 1989, in Houston, Texas. Later on, her parents separated due to a lot of differences. Both the parents shared her custody, which was actually enjoyed by our YouTuber; she said it was, "nice because I got to get away from a hectic house every now and then." When she turned eighteen, she started living in with her longtime boyfriend, Jason. The two of them got married in 2012, and have kids named, Joseph, Jessabella, Julia and Jennifer.
