Guillermo Ochoa is a Mexican professional footballer. He currently plays as a goalkeeper for Liga MX club América and the Mexico national team. He made his senior-level professional debut in 2004 and won his first league title in 2005. He has been a part of many FIFA World Cup squads. He is married to Mexican model Karla Mora. 

Hirving Lozano is a Mexican football player. An important member of the Mexico national team, he represented his nation at the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Lozano was adjudged CONCACAF Men's Player of the Year in 2018.

One of the most decorated Mexican footballers, Rafael Márquez, nicknamed El Káiser, was a star defender in his time. Starting his career with Atlas at age 17, he later played for teams such as Barcelona and the New York Red Bulls. His achievements include 4 La Liga and 2 UEFA Champions League titles.

Starting his youth career with teams such as Monterrey and Barcelona, Mexican footballer Giovani dos Santos later went on to win a gold medal with the Mexican team at the 2012 London Olympics. He was also part of the U-17 FIFA World Championship-winning Mexican squad and is a 3-time CONCACAF Gold Cup winner.

Affectionately known to his fans as Principito, or Little Prince, Mexican footballer Andrés Guardado has had a successful stint as defensive midfielder for Real Betis. Starting his career with Atlas, he has later also played for teams such as Valencia and has now captains the Mexican national team.

Javier Hernández is a professional football player and the first Mexican to represent the popular football club Manchester United. An important player for his national team, Hernández is the all-time leading goal-scorer for Mexico. He has represented Mexico at important tournaments like 2010, 2014, and 2018 FIFA World Cups. Hernández also serves as an inspiration to many aspiring Mexican footballers.

Mexican footballer Jonathan dos Santos is best known as a Club América midfielder and also represents the Mexican national team. He has previously had a successful stint with Barcelona, winning 3 La Liga titles and a UEFA Champions League with the team. He is the son of former Brazilian midfielder Zizinho.

Jorge Campos is a Mexican retired football player who played as a goalkeeper. An eccentric player, Campos often left the penalty area to showcase his acrobatic and flamboyant style of goalkeeping. Jorge Campos was renowned for his athleticism and speed and was counted among the best goalkeepers of his time.

Hugo Sánchez is a Mexican former professional footballer. He used to play as a forward and was a prolific goal scorer. He is widely regarded as the greatest Mexican footballer of all time and was named on the FIFA 100 list of the world's greatest living players in 2004. He became a manager after retirement. 

Carlos Vela is a Mexican football player who currently plays for and captains the Los Angeles Football Club of the Major League Soccer (MLS). A versatile player, Vela can play as an attacking midfielder, winger, and forward. He is also known for his creativity and goal-scoring ability. Carlos Vela is also an important player for the Mexico national team.

Miguel Layún is a Mexican football player and a prominent member of his country's national team. In 2009, he became the first Mexican player to sign a deal with a Serie A club when he joined the Italian club Atalanta. Renowned for his speed, Miguel Layún has won a CONCACAF Cup as well as a CONCACAF Gold Cup for Mexico.   

Cuauhtémoc Blanco is a Mexican former football player best known as one of the greatest penalty takers in the history of the game. He is also counted among the greatest Mexican football players of all time. After retiring as a player, Cuauhtémoc Blanco became a politician and is currently serving as the Governor of Morelos.

Mexican footballer Edson Álvarez is a defensive midfielder for Ajax, with whom he has won a KNVB Cup and an Eredivisie title. He has also represented the Mexican national team, winning a CONCACAF Gold Cup with them. In 2022, both Chelsea and Crystal Palace expressed their interest in signing him on.
