Malaysian Female Badminton Players

Goh Jin Wei is a Malaysian badminton player who won the 2015 and 2018 BWF World Junior Championships. She also won the girls' singles title at the 2018 Youth Olympics. She started playing badminton at the age of six and was encouraged by her father to pursue it professionally and was drafted into the Malaysia national team in 2014.  

Goh Liu Ying is a Malaysian badminton player best known for winning the silver medal in the mixed doubles event at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Goh Liu Ying has also won gold medals at Asian Championships, Commonwealth Games, and Southeast Asian Games.

Malaysian badminton player Wong Mew Choo is a 2-time Commonwealth Games gold medal winner and also has 2 Southeast Asian Games gold medals in her kitty. However, her career has mostly been riddled with injuries. She is married to fellow Malaysian badminton star Lee Chong Wei.

Soniia Cheah Su Ya is a Malaysian badminton player who won her first international title at the 2016 Belgian International tournament. She started playing badminton as a young girl and represented Malaysia at the 2009, 2010, and 2011 Asian Junior Championships. She won the silver medal in the women's singles event at the Southeast Asian Games in 2017.  

Woon Khe Wei is a Malaysian former badminton player who primarily played in the doubles events. Her regular partner was Vivian Hoo and the duo was ranked as high as No. 9 worldwide. Together, they won the gold medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and reached the quarterfinals in the 2016 Olympics. She retired in December 2018. 

Shevon Jemie Lai is a Malaysian badminton player who won the Romanian International tournament in the mixed doubles event with Wong Fai Yin in 2016. She started playing badminton at her primary school and joined the Malaysia national badminton team in 2011. She competed at the Summer Universiade in Kazan, Russia, in 2013 and the Singapore International Series in 2014. 

Kisona Selvaduray is a Malaysian badminton player who won her first senior international title at the Indonesia International Series tournament in the women's singles event in 2017. She also won the gold medal at the Southeast Asian Games tournament in the women's singles event and the bronze medal as part of the women’s team in 2019.  

Vivian Hoo Kah Mun is a Malaysian badminton player. A regular women's doubles player, she partnered with Woon Khe Wei in the women's doubles event and reached the top 10 BWF World Ranking. She has won the Commonwealth Games women's doubles event twice, once with Woon in 2014 and once with Chow Mei Kuan in 2018.
