Sami Gayle is an American actress, best known as ’Nicole "Nicky" Reagan-Boyle,’ one of the youngest of the Reagan clan in 'Blue Bloods.' Initially, acting was not her first choice. She was learning ballet in New York when she was scouted and offered a role in a stage production. Even before graduating from middle school, she was giving auditions in New York, often accompanied by her older brother. She was mentored by Tom Selleck.

Childhood & Early Life
Sami was born Samantha Gail Klitzman, on January 22, 1996, in Weston, Florida, to Larry and Robin. She grew up with her brother, Chad Klitzman.
She attended Everglades elementary school and then home-schooled for a while. Thereafter she enrolled in an online virtual school system when she got busy with her professional commitments. Sami followed 'Advanced Placement' (AP) curriculums in all subjects
A ranked student in 'Public Forum Debate,' Sami earned two bids to compete at the 'Tournament of Champions' and became one of the top debaters of the country. She graduated from in ‘Literature of Humanities’ from 'Columbia University,' in 2018 with 'Summa Cum Laude' distinctions in political science and art history.
Sami was 11 when she joined an acclaimed professional dance school on the Upper West Side 'Steps on Broadway,' in New York. She was scouted there while pursuing ballet and was offered a huge Broadway show, but she rejected the offer and attended her brother’s ‘Bar Mitzvah’ instead.
Her brother, Chad, felt bad for her and became Sami’s agent and helped her get roles in multiple stage projects. Sami was booked for 'Billy Elliot' and 'Gypsy.' Unable to do both the stage productions at the same time, she chose the latter.

Career
Sami began her career performing on the off-Broadway revival of the 1959 musical 'Gypsy.' She was cast to play the younger version of the character 'June,' based on actress June Havoc. She performed during its entire run at the ‘City Center’ and later on ‘Broadway’ as well.
Thereafter Sami appeared in the 2007 Broadway production of Dr. Seuss' 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical,' Jonathan Demme's debut play 'Family Week' at the 'MCC Theatre' and the off-Broadway play 'Oohrah!' at the 'Atlantic Theatre Company.'
Sami then played 'Hayden Lawson' in three episodes of the 'CBS' soap opera 'As the World Turns' (2009–2010). Her next TV project was 'CBS' police procedural drama 'Blue Bloods' in which she played 'Nicole Reagan,' the daughter of Assistant District Attorney 'Erin Reagan' (Bridget Moynahan) who later became the first female cop of her family.
She was nominated for the 'Young Artist Award' for her performance in 'Blue Bloods.' Sami’s hairstyle on the show became so popular that her hairstylist Michael Pettine made a video for her fans about how to achieve and maintain the style.
Sami made her film debut in the role of a naive prostitute 'Erica' in 'Detachment' (2011), a drama about the high school education system. She then starred as 'Alison Montgomery,' a young girl struggling with abandonment issues, in the 2012 action crime thriller 'Stolen' (formerly known as 'Medallion') and lent her voice to 'Sarah Wright' in the animated science fiction 'The Congress, Which was premiered at the 'Cannes Film Festival' in 2013.
In 2012, Sami was nominated for the 'Young Artist Award' for her guest role as 'Natalie' in the 'USA Network' comedy-drama 'Royal Pains.'
Sami played the archenemy to 'Rose' and 'Lissa,' 'Mia Rinaldi' in the 2014 fantasy comedy horror 'Vampire Academy' ('Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters'). She played the lead character, 'Lona Skinner,' in the 'Netflix' comedy film 'Candy Jar' (2018).
