Leilani Green began her social media journey in 2015 when she joined the popular photo-sharing app, Instagram. She eventually expanded to other social media platforms including musical.ly, which is now known as TikTok. She began posting lip-synced musical video clips, which increased her popularity on the platform rapidly, earning her over 5 million hearts until now. She is a fan of rapper Kodak Black, and one of her earliest lip-sync videos featured his song 'Slayed' with the caption "no pictures". Once she gained millions of fans on her TikTok account, her other social media profiles also started attracting more followers. She created her YouTube channel 'Itsleilaniii' back on December 10, 2014, but posted her first video 'CALIFORNIA VLOG!' more than two years later on March 22, 2017. After a few months, on June 9th, she published another mini-vlog titled 'COLOR VIBE 2k17!' However, her YouTube channel took off only after she posted an introductory video with a few question-and-answers on June 14th. After that, she continued posting vlogs, pranks, challenges, tutorials and lifestyle videos for the rest of the year. She took a hiatus from the video-sharing website in the first half of 2018, but returned in June with the 'I AM BACK' video. She then went on to post shopping hauls, pranks, fashion and lifestyle guides throughout the year. In March 2019, she started doing ‘Story Time’ videos, which received a lot of views.

Leilani Green was born on August 17, 2001 in California, United States. She has a younger sister who occasionally appears in her videos. Leilani is a high school senior, who is expected to graduate this year. She lived in Hawaii for some time before moving back to California, and then to Las Vegas, Nevada. She owns a black Range Rover car.

Leilani Green has been in a relationship with fellow TikTok star Reed Woehrle for a few months. The pair reportedly met on the TikTok app. Reed first found fame on the Funimate app as 'ItsJustReed' before doing some modeling. Despite being romantically involved for only a few months, the couple has already made their relationship official on the social media, as they often appear together in each other’s posts. They never shy away from publicly displaying affection for each other, and she also tagged him as her future husband in a recent Instagram post.
