Brandi Cyrus Biography

Brandi Cyrus was born on May 26, 1987, in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, to Tish Cyrus and Baxter Neal Helson. Her parents got separated when she was quite young. After her mother’s wedding with singer, songwriter, and actor Billy Ray Cyrus in 1993, Brandi was legally adopted by Billy. Brandi was interested in music from a young age. She formed a band, ‘Frank and Derol,’ along with her friends Megan Park and Codi Caraco.

In 2007, she appeared alongside her sister Miley in a TV special titled ‘Hannah Montana: Live in London.’ In the same year, she appeared in the documentary video ‘The Real Miley Cyrus.’

In 2008, she was seen in a couple of TV series titled ‘The Miley and Mandy Show’ and ‘Zoey 101.’ From 2008 to 2010, she played minor roles in the popular TV series ‘Hannah Montana.’ Brandi made her film debut in 2009 when she was cast to play the role of a dancer in the Peter Chelsom-directed film ‘Hannah Montana: The Movie.’

From 2011 to 2015, she was seen in many TV series and shows, such as ‘What's Up,’ ‘Piers Morgan Tonight,’ ‘American Music Awards 2013,’ ‘Truly Tish,’ ‘Brandiville,’ ‘2014 MTV Video Music Awards,’ ‘The Queue,’ and ‘Celebrity P.O.V.’

Brandi is also famous for co-hosting a popular podcast titled ‘Your Favorite Thing with Wells & Brandi.’ Apart from hosting shows and appearing in TV series, Brandi keeps her fascination for music alive by working as a DJ. She also maintains a blog called ‘Style Native’ where she posts about fashion and lifestyle. She also uses her blog page as a platform to let her fans know about the upcoming events where she would perform as a DJ. Brandi Cyrus’ mother, Tish Cyrus, is an actress and producer. Brandi and her younger brother, Trace Cyrus, were born from Tish’s marriage with Baxter Neal Helson. Brandi’s adoptive father had three children with Tish – Miley, Braison, and Noah Cyrus.

Brandi is close to her sister Miley as she often collaborates with her for various projects. When Miley announced her wedding with Liam Hemsworth in 2018, Brandi took to her social media page to express her happiness.

Brandi has a large number of followers on social media platforms, such as Instagram and Twitter. Apart from blogging, DJing, and acting, she loves spending time with horses. Her love for animal is often displayed on her social media pages.
