Andrew McCollum Biography

Andrew McCollum’s career took off when he was a student at the Harvard University. He became friends with Mark Zuckerberg and they attended classes together, specially the classes on operating systems. They spent a lot of quality time in Harvard discussing various projects. Among all the projects, it was the Facebook project that they talked most about. During the spring term of the university, Andrew received an email from Mark Zuckerberg. But they always saw the potential in it. They worked hard to make the features of this application user friendly. Andrew, along with Adam D’Angelo (co-founder and CEO of Quora), also launched a file sharing system that was linked to Facebook. It was named as Wirehog. Andrew left Facebook in 2007 to complete his education in Harvard. Andrew McCollum married Gretchen Sisson in the year 2012. Sisson is a sociologist by profession.
