Female Sport Shooters

Lillian Smith was a trick rider and trick shooter who became part of the popular Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show when she was just 15 years old. Dubbed the champion California huntress, Smith was Annie Oakley's arch-rival in the show. During her illustrious career, Smith also performed in other shows like the Miller Brothers 101 Ranch Wild West Show.

Anjali Bhagwat is an Indian sport shooter who won four gold medals at the 2002 Commonwealth Games. A former world number one in 10-meter air rifle, Bhagwat has participated in three successive Olympics. In the 2003 Afro-Asian Games, she became the first Indian female shooter to win a silver and gold medal in the Air Rifle and Sports-3P events respectively.

Anna Korakaki is a Greek competitive shooter best known for winning the gold medal in the women's 25m pistol category and the bronze medal in the 10m air pistol category at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro; she became the first Greek female to win two medals in the same Olympics. Anna Korakaki was also the 2018 World Champion.

Czech markswoman Kateřina Emmons has 3 Olympic medals in her kitty, including a gold. She has won an ISSF World Shooting Championship gold too. She later also served as a consultant coach of the Czech biathlon team. She is married to American rifle shooter Matthew Emmons.

Margaret Murdock is an American nurse and retired United States Army officer. She is best known for her participation in international shooting competitions. She competed at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, where she won a silver medal for her country. Margaret Murdock has been made an inductee of five halls of fame, including the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame.
