Singer and songwriter Björn Ulvaeus is perhaps best known as a member of the ABBA, one of the most successful musical groups of all time. Equally famous as a co-composer and co-producer of several films and musicals, he is currently serving as the President of CISAC, trying to ensure that creators are fairly compensated and properly credited for their works.

Ilya Salmanzadeh is a Swedish-Persian singer, songwriter, and producer. He achieved international recognition after co-writing and producing Jennifer Lopez's First Love and Ariana Grande's Problem in 2014. He has also collaborated with other prominent artistes like Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar. Ilya Salmanzadeh has won many prestigious awards like Teen Choice Award, MTV Europe Music Awards, and MTV Video Music Award.

Emilia Rydberg is a Swedish soul and pop music singer best known for her 1998 single Big Big World which topped the music charts in countries like Austria, Belgium, Germany, Norway, and Switzerland. Her debut studio album of the same name peaked at number six on the GfK Entertainment charts.

Meja is a Swedish composer, singer, and artist. Among her best known works are Grammy Award-nominated song All 'Bout the Money and a duet with Ricky Martin titled Private Emotion. Meja is also renowned for her second studio album Seven Sisters, which peaked at number one on Norway's VG-lista chart.

While Evert Taube was initially a sailor, he also worked as a railroad worker, a tram conductor, and a journalist. He later made a successful career as a singer and soared to fame with tracks such as Calle Schewens Vals. He is now regarded as one of the best Swedish troubadours.

A renowned Swedish operatic soprano from the 19th century, Christina Nilsson ruled the world opera scene for 20 years. She was often compared to fellow opera star Adelina Patti and finds a mention in Leo Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina. One of her most iconic roles was that of Marguerite in Charles Gounod's Faust.

In a career spanning over four decades, Swedish actor Allan Edwall appeared in over 400 projects and became known for his roles in films like Fanny and Alexander, Emil and the Piglet and Åke and His World (also writer and director for the last one). Swedish author Carl Jonas Love Almqvist was known for his diverse range, which included both romanticism and realism. Known as one of the architects of Swedish literature, he initially served as a school principal. His best-known works include the novels Amorina and The Queen’s Diamond Ornament.

One of the founding members of the Swedish Geatish Society, which tried to arouse nationalism through historical study, Erik Gustaf Geijer was a historian, philosopher, poet, political and social theorist all rolled into one. A professor of history at the Uppsala University, he had authored number of books and wrote music for many of his poems, chamber works, choirs etc.

Dan Andersson was a Swedish author, composer, and poet. He is best remembered as an exponent of proletarian literature, although his works aren't limited to that particular genre. Dan Andersson's poetry is still revered in Sweden due to its naturalist mysticism.

Đuro Živković is a Serbian-Swedish violinist and composer. Živković's musical style is characterized by virtuosic instrumentation and fantastic narration. He is credited with developing a variety of compositional techniques like polyrhythmic improvisation, microtones, and heterophony. Đuro Živković has also composed a variety of works including orchestral, chamber, and vocal music.
