Grammy-winning Spanish flamenco singer Rosalia is quite a sensation in Latin music and has often experimented with R&B, hip-hop, and electronic music, too. She gained global fame with the single Malamente and also scripted history as the first-ever Spanish-language artist to gain a Best New Artist nomination at the Grammys.
Her activism and outspokenness had earned Princess María Teresa of Bourbon-Parma the nickname Red Princess. Part of the Spanish royal family, she was educated at the Sorbonne. She later supported the Carlist movement and was a champion of women’s rights, too. She eventually died of COVID-19 at age 86.
Roi Méndez is a Spanish guitarist and singer who achieved national recognition when he appeared in the ninth season of the popular reality television series Operación Triunfo. His popularity increased when he released his single Por una vez más in 2018. The following year, he came up with his album Mi Lógico Desorden which became popular in Spain.
