Xolo Maridueña Biography

Xolo Maridueña began his acting career in 2012, with the role of Victor Graham, one of the main characters in the comedy-drama series ‘Parenthood’. The series revolved around the Braverman clan, which consisted of an older couple, their four children and their families. It was loosely based on a film of the same name, which had released in 1989. It aired for six seasons, between 2010 and 2015. The series included actors such as Peter Krause, Dax Shepard, Monica Potter, Erika Christensen and Lauren Graham. The show was a big hit and won several awards, Maridueña made his film debut in 2013, with a supporting role in ‘Dealin’ with Idiots’, which was written and directed by Jeff Garlin. The same year, he also had a guest role in the police procedural series ‘Major Crimes’.

In 2016, he appeared in guest roles in two other TV shows, namely, ‘Mack & Moxy’, and ‘Rush Hour’. The same year, he was also seen in the television film ‘Furst Born’. In 2017, he was seen in the first season of the famous series ‘Twin Peaks’, in a guest role.

In 2018, he started appearing in the action-comedy drama series ‘Cobra Kai’, which was based on ‘The Karate Kid’ film series. The show starred other actors such as Ralph Macchio, William Zabka and Courtney Henggeler. It started airing on May 2018 on YouTube Premium, and has been mostly met with positive reviews. A second season was also released in 2019, in which Maridueña reprised his role. It was also met with positive reviews. The show has also been nominated for several awards such as the Emmy Awards and the Teen Choice Awards. It won the Rotten Tomatoes Award in the ‘Best TV Drama(6)’ category.

In 2019, he was a voice actor for the supernatural mystery animated series ‘Victor and Valentino’. The show airs on Cartoon Network. He also provided voice for the sci-fi animated series ‘Cleopatra in Space’, which aired on the Streaming Service ‘Peacock’.

Xolo Marideuña was born on 9 June, 2001, in Los Angeles, California, in the US. He has Mexican, Cuban as well as Ecuadorian ancestry.

He is known to be dating Hannah Kepple, an actress, who co-starred with him in the series ‘Cobra Kai’. They became friends when they were working on the first season of the series.
