Willytube, who loved to watch funny videos on YouTube and Vine, joined YouTube for the first time on February 26, 2013, but did not post anything on his channel, Willytube _, for the next few years. He eventually started uploading mostly reaction videos around 2017 and made videos of him reacting to his fans’ content, like TikToks, song covers, etc. He also occasionally posted vlogs, challenges and more, and often featured his family and friends in his videos. He had amassed nearly 200k subscribers on the channel, but for some reason, stopped uploading on it and created a new channel, WillytubeToo, on Jan 18, 2019.

He later made all videos on his original channel private and became active on his second channel, now known simply as Willytube. His content remained more or less the same, even though he later seemed to focus a lot on scary and horror-themed videos, as well as pranks. While he often collaborated with fellow internet star Danielle Cohn in his early videos, he now regularly features his older sister Ody, her fiancé Edgar, their two children JP and Orly, and his friends Heynel and Maibelys in his videos. All of them have separate YouTube channels and usually create similar content, often re-posting the same videos from different perspectives. While Willytube loves to film and edit YouTube videos, he later earned a huge fan following on TikTok by sharing off-the-wall, comedic videos on the platform and also has a sizable fan following on Instagram.

Apart from being a very active social media star, Willytube is also an aspiring musical artist who has released three songs so far through his YouTube channel and various streaming websites. He released the music video of his first single, BLESSED, featuring his friend HeynelM, on May 15, 2021. The video also featured others from their group like his sister’s family and Maibelys, and he later uploaded another video on his channel to provide behind-the-scenes look at filming of the music video. His next music video, Closer, was released on November 6, 2021 and featured a fashion model named Sophia Wilson as his love interest. On November 27. 2021, he released his third song, Under The Christmas Tree. On February 12, 2022, he released a remix version of his song Closer in which he appeared with a “witch”.

Willytube, real name William, was born on October 8, 1999, in Miami, Florida, United States. He has an older sister named Ody, who recently got engaged to her longtime boyfriend Edgar. They have two boys, known as JP and Orly. Willytube has featured all of them, as well as his mother and his aunt, in his videos. He sometimes refers to his nephew Orly his “little brother” in his videos. He congratulated his sister and brother-in-law on their engagement in December 2021 through an Instagram post.

Willytube often featured fellow social media star Maibelys as his “girlfriend” in several couples-themed videos, like Looking Through My Girlfriends Private Snapchat!! *horrible idea* or I PASSED OUT PRANK ON GIRLFRIEND (she freaks out) on his YouTube channel. However, he only did it as click-bait and usually mentioned her as his “friend” or “best friend” in the videos. While some sources mention her as his ex-girlfriend or that they broke up in 2021, they regularly appear in each other’s videos.

On November 17, 2021, he posted a behind-the-scenes video from the shooting of his song “Closer” titled HERE'S THE TRUTH... on his second channel. It showed him romancing model Sophia Wilson, who starred in his music video, but fans quickly started to speculate if they were dating as they were seen kissing in the video. Shortly after, she appeared in several videos on his second channel, including a PDA-filled one, but all of that could be just for clicks as Sophia does not usually appear on his main channel and neither of them posts about the other person on other social media platforms.
