Valkyrae began her professional journey with ‘GameStop,’ an American retailer for video games, consumer electronics, and wireless services. She worked there for a year and a half, although she never enjoyed working there.

Working with a gaming company led Valkyrae to develop an interest in gaming. After quitting her job, she turned toward live streaming. Valkyrae joined 'Twitch' and eventually became a full-time streamer. Her journey on 'Twitch' took a leap when she started playing 'Fortnite.' Soon, Valkyrae attained new career heights.
