NoahFinnce or Noah Adams is an LGBT British YouTuber and Instagram star who gained fame for his music covers, vlogs, and posts on the social media platforms. His popularity rose considerably after he came out as transgender and being gay. Both lauded and trolled for these revelations, Noah has become a celebrity and a spokesperson for transgender and gay rights. While still trying to figure out himself, his place in the world, he has been using YouTube as a platform to also help other children and parents deal with the social pressures of coming out as gay or transgender. Although this might have been the reason for his recent rise in popularity, NoahFinnce is also a very talented singer and vlogger. His creative music videos like ‘I Don’t Know My Name Cover’, ‘Stand By Me Cover’, and vlogs like ‘My Entire Coming Out Story’ have been viewed millions of times. Probably one of top upcoming LGBT YouTubers in recent years, Noah has been an inspiration to young kids trying to figure out a way to come out to their parents and society. He was even featured in an exclusive Channel 4 interview.
Rise To Stardom
NoahFinnce started his Instagram account ‘NoahFinnce’ just as a simple outlet to post on his daily life, small music cover clips, and lifestyle. While his initial posts were getting views and he had more than 6k followers in 2015, it wasn’t until October 2015 that more people started viewing his posts. Instagram users were drawn by his charming personality and his funny attitude. It also helped that he often started posting images which were gesturing towards the fact that he wasn’t comfortable with his sexuality. Simultaneously, Noah made the decision to start his YouTube channel ‘NoahFinnce’ on December 18, 2015.
The parallel move to YouTube was a great career choice because it started bringing in more viewers, resulting in increasing popularity for Noah Adams. His first major video posted on December 31, 2015, was entitled ‘Welcome To The Black Parade (Guitar Solo) - My Chemical Romance’. The guitar cover received more than 49k views. Most of the viewers were his Instagram followers, but he also started getting new subscribers.
NoahFinnce followed that up with positive social message videos like ‘How To Deal With Cyberbullying’ which brought in even more views and subscribers. He also continued making song cover videos and on August 10, 2016, published the music video entitled ‘I Don’t Know My Name’. The cover of the Grace Vanderwall song was a massive hit and has registered more than 1.2 million views to date. It remains the most popular video on NoahFinnce’s channel.
His fast rise in popularity amongst YouTube viewers also spilled over to Instagram. In 2017, his account started nearing the 100k mark. But this was only the beginning of what turned out to be his biggest year both personally and professionally. Having already revealed on Instagram earlier in the year, that he was gay, on August 17, 2017, he posted the video ‘How I Knew I Was Gay’. His coming out as gay was applauded by most of his followers and increased his standing in the LGBT community.
Consequently, on September 8, 2017, he posted the video ‘Coming Out As Transgender’. The heart wrenching yet honest explanation, of his coming out was liked immensely by his fans who showed him their love and thanked him for being an inspiration. Of course, there were also those who started trolling him on social media.
With this revelation, NoahFinnce gained massive traction on all his social media accounts and reached his first 100k followers on Instagram on January 3, 2018. Since then he has posted images of his daily struggles of gender transformation, lifestyle updates, and music clips. All of these have taken his Instagram fan base to a whopping 238k followers and growing.
After coming out as a gay-transgender social media influencer, Noah started using YouTube to help others struggling with their sexuality too. In addition to that, he also started vlogging on his gender transformation with videos like ‘My Entire Coming Out Story’ and ‘3 Months On Testosterone’. Simultaneously, his music cover videos like ‘Don’t Stop Believing - Journey Cover’ and ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow’ have only catapulted his popularity to new levels. He is one of the top LGBT YouTubers at the moment.
