Tim always had a passion for gaming. In 2012, he started his gaming career through live-streaming on Twitch. The following year, Tim ventured into 'YouTube, where he now uploads game montages and updates. Tim earned a massive fan base through his stream highlights. Additionally, it helped him acquire video-editing knowledge that later helped him in his growth as an online gamer.

Initially, Tim posted a lot of 'Call of Duty: Black Ops 2' gameplay videos such as scopes, quickscopes, and noscopes. He also posted 'Call of Duty' moments’ compilations. On March 27, 2014, Tim quit his job and focused completely on his gaming career. He then started playing 'Counter-Strike: Global Offensive' games professionally. Tim has been playing the game since he was 13 years old. He had already been creating montages of the game since its release. By the time he was 15 years old, Tim had started playing 'World of Warcraft.' He continued doing so till he was 21. Tim’s online fan base grew rapidly in 2018, when he began posting 'Fortnite' highlights. He began uploading the highlights in the month of April and continued till the third season of 'Fortnite.' Following this, Tim earned huge fame and recognition as one of the most entertaining and successful 'Fortnite' players.

Tim’s YouTube channel also includes 'Overwatch' compilations. His amazing gaming skills and montages have earned him a massive fan base on Twitch. His Twitch followers are collectively known as the "Tatmanarmy." He now has over 7 million followers on the platform and more than 5 million YouTube subscribers. 

In July 2018, Tim set a record on Twitch. He broke the record of income in donations in a single block of four hours. Tim raised a sum of over $100,000 to fulfill the goals of a charitable event.

Tim was born Timothy John Betar, on April 8, 1990, in the US. He was 15 years old when his mother died. Tim shares a great bond with his father.

Tim is married. His wife’s name is Alexis. They dated each other for some time before Tim proposed marriage in December 2015. Alexis accepted his proposal, and on December 20, 2015, Tim shared his joy through a “tweet” and a picture of Alexis's engagement ring. The following day, Tim announced his marriage. They got married eight months later, in August 2016. The couple has a son named Brewer (born in April 2019)

Tim is fond of tattoos. He has three tattoos, but none of them is related to games. Tim has tattooed two sleeves and a chest piece. As a child, he enjoyed playing 'The Hunt for Red October' on 'Super Nintendo.' His favorite gamer is Summit1G, whom he follows in between his streams. Tim also follows Sodapoppin, who was one of the first 'Twitch' streamers he ever watched after hearing about the platform for the first time. Tim is a big fan of 'Syracuse University' athletics.
