Sophdoeslife created her self-titled Youtube channel in May 2014 and her first video was titled “TMI Tag! | sophdoesnails.” She began posting beauty and lifestyle content on her channel that gradually gained the interest of the audience. As of now, she is amongst the most celebrated beauty content creators on Youtube and has a strong subscriber base supporting her channel. Apart from Youtube, Sophdoeslife has also amassed considerable fame on other social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram where her makeup and lifestyle content is admired by hundreds of thousands of fans and followers.

In March 2016, Sophdoeslife launched her second Youtube channel under the name sophdoesvlogs. The channel is mostly focused on vlogs and entertains close to 170k subscribers. The most popular video on her new channel is titled “I MOVED HOUSE!! Packing up + first day in the new house.”

In a Q&A video, Sophdoeslife shared that her parents are more private and prefer remaining “off-camera.'' According to her, she started Youtube as a hobby.
