Slayy.Kayyy’s career on TikTok, began at a very young age. She started by posting lip-sync videos and small dance routines to popular songs. Lip-syncing to songs by Justin Bieber and popular hip-hop stars, she gained a massive following. However, as she started growing up, she also started dancing. It is unclear if she is a trained dancer or not, but she certainly has the talent. Her hip-hop dance moves have only helped her gain more fans on TikTok. She also often posts mini-vlogs on the app which give her fans a window into her life. Her fans are popularly known as ‘kay-babies’ and they appreciate the hard work she puts into her videos. This is clearly reflected in her ever-increasing number of followers across all social media platforms.

Unfortunately in early 2018, many of Slayy.Kayyy’s early videos were deleted by TikTok without any clear explanation. This, however, didn’t stop her growth on the app. With over 251k fans on TikTok, she is slowly becoming popular on the app. Her social media accounts are heavily monitored by her parents for her safety. However, she enjoys a certain freedom in posting whatever content she wants to post. She usually keeps in mind the age group of her audience; teenagers and kids, who find her videos relatable and funny. She also posts about her daily experiences like the first day of school or teenage shopping experiences.

Her popularity has spilled over to Instagram as well. At one point Slayy.Kayyy’s Instagram account reached more than 29k followers. Unfortunately, it was hacked following the milestone and she had to abandon it and create a new one. Although she is yet to regain all her followers, she is advancing at a fast pace. While not as active on YouTube, Slayy.Kayyy has over 15k followers on her channel ‘Kasey Willow’. Her first video entitled ‘How To Change Your Date Of Birth On Roblox! PATCHED :(’ was posted on February 11, 2017. The video gained more than 28k views. Since then she has posted daily life vlogs like ‘Christmas Haul’, ‘Glowy Skincare Routine’, and ‘What I Got For Christmas 2K18’. On September 10, 2018, she published the video ‘Getting Slayed For BTS | GRWM First Day of 7th Grade’ on her YouTube channel. The video became her most popular video to date with more than 245k views. This has also inspired Slayy.Kayyy to become a bit more active on YouTube, although TikTok remains her primary focus.
