Jessi Smiles Bio

As a teenager, Jessi Smiles started working as a makeup artist and learned about the Vine platform from a model. Jessi, who considered herself funny despite people telling her otherwise, found the platform fitting for her type of humor. She soon started posting funny videos on Vine and attracted a lot of attention. By the time she reached 5000 followers, one of her videos made it to the "popular" page on Vine, which exposed her to a larger audience, doubling her followers count overnight. It took her only a month to reach 1 million followers. She made friends with another popular Viner, Curtis Lepore, who showed interest in her work, and the two soon started collaborating on Vines together. She eventually reached as many as 3.6 million followers on Vine, but left the platform for personal reasons. She started focusing on her YouTube channel where she currently has over 950K subscribers.

In 2019, she was involved in a public YouTube feud with fellow creator Gabbie Hanna, sharing multiple videos about the conflict.

Jessi Smiles was born on August 17, 1993 in Miami, Florida. Her parents divorced when she was a baby. Her father Rubin is a technician for AT&T. After her mother Christina married again, she and her bother Joey started living with her step-father Joe Ferrero, a TV and radio personality. She has three step-brothers. One of her brothers is autistic. She had to be homeschooled for her senior year. 

She married Nassim Ssimou in 2017, and the couple has two children: a son named Noah, born in August 2017, and a daughter named Amelie Cristina, born in November 2021.

During her teenage days, she once left her parents to live with her first boyfriend, after they disapproved of the relationship. Unfortunately, her boyfriend left her soon, making it one of her worst memories.
