Dante Hoagland is an American actor. He began his career quite young and has recently been offered several impressive acting projects. In his debut year, Dante lent his voice to a character in a popular American animation series. Two of his most prominent acting roles have been that of ‘Coco’ in the film 'Fading Gigolo' and ‘Howie’ in the thriller 'Emelie.' Dante played the young Michael Bivins, the founding member of the R&B group 'New Edition,' in the group’s biographical miniseries 'The New Edition Story.' Dante was featured in the music video of hip-hop artist Danny Brown’s song 'Grown Up.' He is also active on 'Instagram,' where he often posts pictures with his mother and siblings.

  • Dante was interested in acting since he was a child. His parents, too, encouraged him and supported his choice of career. He consistently focused on polishing his acting skills and bagged his first acting project when he was 11.
  • In 2012, Dante was seen in the music video of hip-hop artist Danny Brown’s song 'Grown Up.' The video earned Danny an 'MTVU Woodie Award' in 2013, and Dante began to be referred to as "Young Danny Brown." He lent his voice to a character named ‘Doctor Bot’ in an episode of the ‘Nickelodeon’ live-action interactive musical children's TV series 'Team Umizoomi.'
  • In 2013, Dante made his film debut with the role of ‘Coco’ in the comedy 'Fading Gigolo,’ starring Woody Allen and Sharon Stone. The same year, he appeared as ‘Terry’ in two episodes of the sitcom ‘30 Rock.’ In 2015, Dante was seen as ‘Howie’ in the horror–thriller film ‘Emelie.’ The same year, Dante was seen in two episodes of the late-night talk show 'Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.'
