Interestingly, his original username on the platform was yuppitsbrandon, but he later changed it to brandoncardosoo to match with his username on Instagram. It was a long grind for him, but after the platform became TikTok and gained popularity among the younger generation, his lip-syncs and videos in which he interacted with floating texts above his head started to become viral on the platform. He was also convinced by his friends and fans to be active on YouTube, following which he made his first upload, WHAT I LOOK FOR IN A GIRLFRIEND, on Apr 4, 2018. However, TikTok remained his primary platform on which he witnessed a huge growth in 2019 as he participated in various TikTok events and tours with other popular internet celebrities. Relationships

Brandon Cardoso has been in a relationship with fellow social media star Faith Moormeier. They first met when Brandon accompanied her brother Payton and others at the ‘Lights Out x Christopher's Birthday Bash’ event in April 2019, in which Faith was invited to take pictures because of her excellent photography skills. In a video titled Addressing my relationship.. on March 27, 2020, he mentioned that the two connected immediately after their first meeting and that he was convinced that she was the one for him. They continued to hang out together and texted all the time, and soon started connecting over FaceTime after exchanging numbers. In June 2020, they went to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to spend some quality time together. They also started to feature more in each other’s social media posts, which caught the attention of their fan base, sparking relationship rumors.

In July 2020, Faith’s mother invited Brandon Cardoso to their house to give Faith a surprise visit, which further advanced their relationship. Nevertheless, they were not officially a couple yet as they were a bit skeptical about a long-distance relationship because she lived in North Carolina and he in Massachusetts and were primarily meeting at social media events. However, they were hopeful about continuing the relationship and moving in together soon. She came to visit his family for Thanksgiving and he showed her around Boston. In the video, Brandon officially announced their relationship and assured his fans that both their families supported them. Moreover, Brandon, who had made several videos about wanting to have a girlfriend during his early YouTube career, insisted that the relationship didn’t happen in a hurry. He and Faith also launched merchandise together called ‘Baith’
