Inspired by his grandfather, a former boxer and Navy engineer whom he idolized as the epitome of coolness, Austin transitioned from being a cigarette smoker to a vaping enthusiast. His grandfather's smoking habit, which eventually led to his passing, served as a cautionary tale for Austin, prompting him to break free from the addiction through vaping.
