
Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore is an Indian politician, retired Indian Army officer, and former shooting athlete. He is best known for winning the silver medal in the men's double trap competition at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore is the recipient of prestigious sporting honors such as the Arjuna Award and Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award.






Best known for his bronze medal win at the 2012 London Olympics, Gagan Narang is a popular Indian sport shooter. Born to an Air India manager, he was drawn to shooting after receiving an air pistol as a gift from his father. He has also won a Padma Shri for his achievements.



Sport shooter Vijay Kumar is best known for his silver medal win at the 2012 London Olympics and his five Commonwealth gold medals. The Padma Shri awardee is the son of an Indian Army subedar from Himachal and had taken up shooting after being drawn to his father’s guns in childhood.


Anjali Bhagwat is an Indian sport shooter who won four gold medals at the 2002 Commonwealth Games. A former world number one in 10-meter air rifle, Bhagwat has participated in three successive Olympics. In the 2003 Afro-Asian Games, she became the first Indian female shooter to win a silver and gold medal in the Air Rifle and Sports-3P events respectively.
