William Shatner Filmography
William Shatner owes his worldwide fame to role of Captain James Kirk in the ‘Star Trek’ series. He has also written a series of books talking about his experience of playing one of the most iconic characters in film and TV history. William Shatner started doing films in the 50s with the film ‘The Brothers Karamazov.’ After doing a few more films, he turned towards television and played some starring roles in the series, such as ‘Outlaws,’ ‘Thriller’ and ‘The Explosive Generation.’ He was hailed for his acting talent before being selected to play the role of Captain James Kirk in the ‘Star Trek’ TV series.
After the success of ‘Star Trek,’ many offers came his way, and he made full use of it, starring in notable films, such as ‘Big Bad Mama,’ ‘The Devil’s Rain,’ ‘Miss Congeniality,’ and ‘Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story.’ But the best role of William Shatner’s career remained that of Captain James Kirk in the ‘Star Trek’ series, which he portrayed in the film series as well.
