A dangerous criminal escapes after the spaceship transporting him makes an emergency crash landing on a desert planet. When predatory alien creatures arrive, the criminal returns to hatch an escape plan with the rest of the survivors.

On the run for five years, Riddick arrives on planet Helion Prime which is threatened by Necromongers, an evil race that wants to convert everyone and eliminate those who resist. Lord Marshall, the leader of the race, can be killed only by a Furian and Riddick, being the last surviving member of the race, now has to defeat the enemy and protect humanity.

The fifth installment of the Fast & Furious franchise also referred to as Fast & Furious 5: Rio Heist, finds Dominic Toretto, Brian O’Conner, and their team trying to steal US $100 million from drug lord Herman Reyes. It also marks the debut of fan-favorite Diplomatic Security Service agent Luke Hobbs in the franchise.

Dominic Toretto and the rest of the gang are living a more relaxed life when their peace is shattered by cyber-terrorist Cipher. Cipher blackmails Dom into betraying his team, by kidnapping his ex-partner Elena and their son. Now the team must join forces with Deckard Shaw and Hobbs to save Don and take down Cipher. 

Babylon AD is a science fiction action adventure film which takes us to USA in a dystopian future, where a Russian mobster named Gorsky hires Toorop, a mercenary, to escort a young woman Aurora to New York City from Europe.  However, unlike the US, which is technologically advanced, most of the cities in Russia are dangerous and overpopulated slums, which make the job much more complicated than it has to be.

The fourth movie of the Fast & Furious franchise, the movie serves as a direct sequel to the first movie and sees the return of the original cast. Dominic Toretto, Brian O’ Conner, Mia Toretto and their friends join forces to avenge the murder of Letty Ortiz and bring down the drug lord Arturo Braga.

The seventh installment in the Fast & Furious franchise, Furious Seven finds Dominic Toretto and his team being chased by rogue special forces assassin Deckard Shaw. The movie is also Paul Walker’s last appearance as Brian O’Conner as he passed away in a separate car accident in the middle of filming the movie.

Boiler Room is a crime drama film, which tells the story of a college dropout, who while also attempting to live up to his father’s standards, gets a job as a broker at an investment firm. Although he finds success, his judgment eventually gets clouded, and he gets involved in greed and corruption. 

Matty is unable to find a job since his father is a mob boss, and employers fear him. He is not content doing menial jobs for his father, but he tries to convince his father that he is ready to be a reliable partner. Soon, an opportunity presents itself.

Hailed as ‘Hero’ after his courageous act during the Iraq War, 19-year-old private Billy Lynn and ‘Bravo Squad’ is temporarily brought back home and taken on a victory tour at the half-time show of Thanksgiving Day football game. The flashback sequences reveal the real incidences of war and their effects on the ‘Bravo Squad’, which emphasize how the realities contrast with perception of heroism. 

Based on the eponymous novel by Ted Hughes, The Iron Giant is an animated film that revolves around a docile 50-foot robot from outer space and a small boy who tries to save him from the clutches of a paranoid federal agent. Set in the Cold War era, it shows how a suspected Russian robot sacrifices himself to save the earth.

Ralph and Vanellope discover a Wi-Fi router in their arcade, which leads them into a new adventure in the uncharted land of the internet.  

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 finds Peter Quill and his gang of misfits Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Baby Groot going on a journey across the cosmos to learn more about Quill’s father Ego. Quill eventually defeats Ego, the main antagonist of the movie and is saved by Yondu Udonta who sacrifices his own life in doing so.

Based on an eponymous book, Awakenings is the story of Dr. Malcolm Sayer and his miraculous discovery of a drug that seems to awaken patients from their catatonic state, including Leonard Lowe. But in a twist of fate, the effects of the drug are temporary leading to an altercation between Sayer, played by Robin Williams, and Lowe, portrayed by Robert De Niro.

After participating in an illegal street racing, American teenager Sean Boswell is sent to live with his marine father stationed in Japan. He is soon introduced to the new and dangerous drift racing and quickly lands into a huge debt, putting him at odds with the mafia, and also falls for the girlfriend of the Drift King.
