Considered one of the greatest films of all time, this science-fiction horror film directed by Ridley Scott is about space merchant vessel Nostromo whose crew respond to a distress call on their way back to earth. As a result they end up with a dangerous and aggressive extra-terrestrial creature on board.

The Right Stuff is a historical drama adventure film, which tells the story of the original Mercury 7 astronauts and how they approach their space program.

One Man’s Way is a drama film which revolves around Norman Vincent Peale, who is working in Detroit as a crime reporter for a newspaper. He is deeply affected by the tragedies that he witnesses or writes about, and eventually decides to write a book. Although it becomes a best seller, he also gains controversy.

Speed is an action-packed thriller where a bomb on a bus is rigged to blow up if the speed of the bus falls below 50 mph. Set in Los Angeles, a brave cop, played by Keanu Reeves, tries to save the passengers on the bus with the aid of another passenger, portrayed by Sandra Bullock, before the bomb goes off.

Kinsey is a 2004 biographical drama film, which gives us a glimpse of the life of the Alfred Kinsey, a pioneer in the area of human sexuality. 

David Freeman, a 12-years-old boy from Florida, goes missing in 1978 to return to his ecstatic family in 1986. But everyone is baffled that he has not aged in 8 years. A UFO, found nearby by a NASA scientist, reveals the mystery of 8 years, during which David had an adventure navigating the futuristic spacecraft, and amassing vast knowledge about the universe. 

Goin’ South is a western romantic comedy film which takes us to a town in Texas, shortly after the Civil War. Henry Moon is an outlaw who is captured while trying to make his escape to Mexico. Due to lack of men after the war, the town has a special law that if a single woman offers to marry a condemned man, he can walk free. Henry is in luck since a woman named Julia offers to marry him, but it soon turns out that her main purpose is to have someone to search for gold in her property.

This war drama film tells the story of the family lives of three San Francisco Marines which are affected due to their personal experiences on the front lines in the Pacific while fighting in the Second World War. 

The story centers on three small town friends, each of whom has lost the man in their life and leads an unfulfilled existence. Then a stranger comes to town and starts courting them one by one, eventually persuading them to live in his house. Living together, they soon realize that they are witches; and also start worrying about the man’s ultimate intension.

Twisted is a psychological thriller film which revolves around Jessica who is a police officer, who had recently received a promotion due to solving a high-profile case. She soon finds herself in the center of another investigation involving multiple homicides. Interestingly all of the victims are her former lovers.
