Ted Danson Filmography
Ted Danson is undoubtedly one of the most talented American actors we have had. Be it his act of DB Russell in ‘CSI: Crime Investigation Scene’ and ‘CSI: Cyber’ or his recurring role as himself in the series ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’, the phenomenal acting that Danson has exhibited earned him two Primetime Emmy Awards and three Golden Globe Awards in addition to several nominations. He was also awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Danson first took over the television scene in the mid-1970s. In 1982, he got his career breakthrough in what became his most recognizable role, as former baseball player and bartender Sam Malone on the NBC sitcom ‘Cheers’. What followed was a streak of successful television roles in popular series, such as ‘Gulliver’s Travels’, ‘Becker’, ‘Damages’, ‘Bored to Death’ and so on. Meanwhile, alongside television, Danson made his debut in films as well, his first ever role was as bagpipe playing Officer, Ian Campbell, in ‘The Onion Field’. Over the years, his filmography expanded extensively and he featured in several hit films including ‘Three Men and a Baby’, ‘Three Men and a Little Lady’, ‘Cousins’, ‘Creepshow’, ‘Body Heat’, ‘Little Treasure’, ‘Just Between Friends’, ‘A Fine Mess’, ‘Dad’, ‘Made in America’ and ‘Getting Even’.
