Deewar is an action thriller crime film which tells the story of Vijay, a dockworker who turns to crime, and eventually becomes a leading figure of the underworld. Meanwhile, his younger brother Ravi becomes an educated and upright police officer. Things take an ugly turn, and the two brothers find themselves against one another, when Ravi is sent to arrest Vijay.

Awaara is a crime drama film which tells the story of Raj, a petty thief, who was forced to turn to crime due to his life of poverty. He kills his employer after his mother is attacked. He is arrested, but soon, he finds himself in a shock to discover that the judge is his estranged father. However, his father is not aware of this fact.

Based on the epic Mahabharata, this drama film tells the story of two business families in India, and how their relationships are affected by the fierce competition between them. 

A Hindi drama movie produced by B. R. Chopra, Waqt tells the story of Lala Kedarnath Prasanta, a rich merchant who loses his fortunes and family in an earthquake. After many years, he is finally reunited with his three long-lost sons and wife. The film pioneered the concept of movies with multiple stars in Indian cinema. 

This period film takes us back to the time of India’s 1857 War of Independence.  The film tells the story of an obsessed Indian Nawab who desires to wed a young Anglo-Indian woman. However, the girl’s mother stands between them, and refuses to allow them to marry.

He also confesses to the police about his crime and pleads guilty to murder in court.

Aag is a musical romance film, which tells the story of Kewal, a young man, who is thrown out of his house, after he fails his law exam. He eventually meets Rajan, who helps him work towards his dream of becoming a theatre actor.

Vijeta is a coming-of-age drama film which revolves around a young teenager named Angad, who is confused regarding his life and is also stuck between the marital problems of his parents. He eventually decides that he will become a fighter pilot for the Indian Air Force.

Nima and Balraj have been happily married for a long time. However, their lives get complicated, when Sharada, Nima’s sister and Balraj’s first wife, returns home after being discharged by the mental asylum where she spent 14 years.

The title represents life’s basic essentials which Bharat, an unemployed graduate, struggles to provide for his family after his father’s retirement. Adaptation of the Sanskrit drama ‘Mricchakatika,’ Utsav revolves around courtesan Vasantsena of Ujjain’s King Palaka’s court. While trying to escape King’s mean brother-in-law, Samsthanak, she hides in the house of married, penurious Brahmin Charudatta, which soon leads to a passionate relationship between them. Following a political intrigue Charudatta is accused of murder. The story unfolds to reveal what destiny has in store for the lovers.

Two brothers, Kishan and Amit are separated at birth when Amit is stolen by his criminal father Vikram’s rival, and sold to a bootlegger. Having grown up in different circumstances, the two unite. When Vikram, unknowingly orders a hit on his own son, the two brothers unite to triumph over evil.  

Shakespeare-Wallah is an Indian drama film, which tells the story of a troupe of actors in India, who travel around various towns and villages, giving performances of Shakespearean plays. 

Polly Barlow sees the world for the first time after she decides to spend some time with her wealthy aunt as a traveling companion. While in India, her aunt passes away, leaving her alone. She soon starts having a romance with a local tour boy.

Prem Kahani is a romantic musical action drama film which revolves around Rajesh, who lives a poor lifestyle along with his brother Brijesh. Although Brijesh is actively fighting for freedom, and is trying to overthrow the British oppressors from Colonial India, Rajesh has no interest in politics or the freedom struggles. However, this changes when Brijesh gets killed and Rajesh gets involved with the freedom fighters to avenge the death of his brother.  

Vikramjeet Singh becomes a gangster and starts building a private army of his own, after an unfortunate incident involving his fiancée changes his life. However, after one of his associates Neera, gets married to a CBI Officer named Kumar Sahni, Vikramjeet is forced to flee, and is soon presumed dead. Years later, Neera is introduced to a saint named Shradhanand, who looks completely like Vikramjeet.

Vijay is a criminal who robs the rich and helps the poor and the needy. Eventually, to bring him to justice, a man named Ajay is hired for the job. However, neither of them are aware that they are actually brothers who were separated at quite a young age.

Vishal is a student living in a prestigious college. He falls for a woman named Neeta, who is the daughter of a wealthy widower nmed Gulabchand. Soon, their marriage is finalized, but things get out of control, when Gulabchand is killed, and Karan, Vishal’s brother is run over by a lorry. Vishal decides to look after his crippled brother, but soon he learns that his brother is actually a criminal.

Mohan and Ahmed are two friends who act as mock witnesses and give false evidence in court as per the requirements of the cases. This changes when they meet Kabir Das, and influenced by him, they decide to change their lives. However, they find it difficult to earn a living as honest citizens.  Meanwhile, Kabir Das is arrested for a murder he didn’t commit, and now it is up to the duo to help him.
