Anthony Santos or Romeo Santos is an American singer, songwriter, record producer and actor. He founded a band with his three cousins in 1997 with the name ‘Los Tinellers’ (‘The Teenagers’).

The group changed their name to ‘Aventuara’ later, and got their big break in 1999, and by the end of 2004, their bachata pop-R&B mix style gave birth to their hit song, ‘Obsesión’.  The band gave many hit songs like  ‘Los Infieles’, ‘El Perdedor’, ‘Por Un Segundo’, ‘Dile Al Amor’ etc. before the band separated in 2011.
Romeo has been working as a solo artist ever since. He has given no. 1 hits (‘You’, ‘Promise’ etc.) and sold out international shows.

As an actor, Romeo made his debut in the Dominican movie ‘Sanky Panky’ (2007), along with his then fellow band members. He made his Hollywood debut in the movie ‘Furious 7’ (2015) of ‘The Fast and the Furious’ franchise. He had a cameo role alongside The Rock, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker.

He also had a voice role in the ‘The Angry Birds Movie’ (2016). He played the voice of ‘Early Bird’ in the movie.
