The movie is based on the life of T.E. Lawrence who was sent to Arabia to aide Prince Faisal. He becomes a liaison between the British and the Arabs who are fighting the Turks. His daring victories against the Turks makes Lawrence the hero, but his own exploits weigh heavily on his soul. 

The Academy Awards-winning film set in 12th century France features King Henry II, who summons his sons and family at Christmas, to name his successor. The Last Emperor is a biographical historical drama film which tells the story of Pu-Yi, the last emperor of China. After being captured as a war criminal in 1950 by the Red Army, he begins to remember his life, starting from his childhood and his youth, where he was provided with every luxury he could think of, although he was sheltered from the outside world. He also remembers how his life turned upside down with the beginning of the Chinese revolution.

The story revolves around a troubled young woman, the daughter of an American industrialist, who travels to London, where she becomes involved with a group of beatniks, taking part in wild parties and free love. Soon her fiancée and her father follow her, intending to take her back to the USA.

In the magical kingdom of Stormhold, he discovers that the star is actually a woman named Yvaine and three evil witches and the king’s son are also after her. As he tries to protect her on his way back, he unravels his own true identity.

Despite objections from several prominent individuals in the Cape Colony as well as Great Britain, Lord Chelmsford is eventually authorized to launch an attack on the Zulu Empire. The British become quite frustrated as the Zulu military adopts a Fabian strategy. Instead of engaging in pitched battle, they launch few skirmishes against the British. The overconfident British army eventually learns how they have underestimated the skill and might of the Zulu nation.

A loose adaptation of Homer's Iliad, the film follows the Trojan War, which emerged after Paris, the Trojan prince, convinced the Queen of Sparta, Helen, to leave her husband Menelaus, and come with him to Troy.

Venus is a romantic comedy drama film which revolves around Maurice Russell, who is an elderly actor. He finds himself attracted to Jessie, the grand-niece of his friend Ian. Meanwhile, his health is also deteriorating due to his prostate cancer. He soon takes Jessie to the National Gallery in London to view his favorite painting and decides to nickname her ‘Venus’.
