Patrick Warburton Filmography
Patrick Warburton came into prominence with the 1995 sitcom Seinfeld . He made his first screen appearance in the 1987 film, Dragonard,’ in which he was subject to the longest onscreen flogging (nearly four minutes ). Thereafter, he appeared in its sequel, ‘Master of Dragonard Hill (1989),’ before moving to television.
He made guest appearances on several shows, including ‘Murphy Brown,’ ‘Designing Women,’ and ‘Quantum Leap’ before appearing in a recurring role on the 1993 sitcom, ‘Dave's World.’ It was a 1995 episode of Seinfeld, "The Fusilli Jerry," that brought recognition to Warburton. He played Puddy and this character became quite popular. He appeared in the show until 1998.
Warburton gave his voice for Superman in a number of commercials starring Seinfeld. Thereafater, he appeared in another recurring role on ‘News Radio’ in 1999. He then lent his voice to characters on several animated shows, including Family Guy, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, and Hercules.
He displayed his comic talent portraying a bodyguard in the 2000 film, ‘Scream 3.’ Thereafter, he appeared as an American astronomer in Australia in the 2000 film, ‘The Dish.’
Disney used his voice for the role of a sorceress' thug assistant in the 2000 film, ‘The Emperor's New Groove.’ In 2001, he appeared in the Fox sitcom, ‘The Tick,’ as a superhero in a blue costume.
His 2002 film appearances include ‘Big Trouble’ and ‘Men in Black 2.’
Quite famous for his voice, Warburton became an in-demand voice actor and worked in several projects, including TV series like ‘The Venture Brothers’ and ‘Family Guy,’ as well as movies, such as ‘Chicken Little,’ ‘Home on the Range,’ ‘The Wild,’ and ‘Bee Movie.’
In 2007, he had a successful run with ‘Rules of Engagement,’ and appeared ‘Ted,’ in 2012.
