Nancy Justine McKeon is an American actress who has achieved widespread fame and acclaim majorly for starring in episodes of TV series and telefilms. She appeared in Sears & Roebuck commercials for baby clothes when she was just two years old and together with her elder brother Philip, featured in more than 65 commercials during her growing up years. The first few years of her professional career were low-key and mundane as she had to be content with bit roles in episodes of ‘Fantasy Island’, ‘Starsky & Hutch’, ‘Alice’, and ‘The Love Boat’.
She received her first major break when she bagged the part of Jill Stone which she reprised in 9 episodes of ‘Stone’. The turning point of her career came when she was chosen to portray the protagonist Jo Polniaczek, a tomboy, in the popular TV series ‘The Facts of Life’. She continued to enact the central character from the series’ second season till the last, comprising a total of 189 episodes that were aired from 1980 to 1988.
