Based on the 2004 documentary The Conscientious Objector, the movie narrates the true story of WWII American Army Medic, Desmond T. Doss. As a conscientious objector, he refused to carry or use any weapon/firearm during the Battle of Okinawa but still managed to rescue and treat 75 men.
