Jane Leeves made her small screen debut in 1983 with ‘The Benny Hill Show,’ the British comedy television show where she was seen in a small role. In the same year she was also seen in ‘Monty Python’s The Meaning of Life,’ the British musical sketch comedy film where she appeared as a dancer. She is renowned for portraying Daphne Moon in ‘Frasier,’ the American sitcom for which she also earned an ‘Emmy Award,’ and ‘Golden Globe Award’ nomination. She is also famous for playing Joy Scroggs on ‘Hot in Cleveland.’ ‘Throb’ marked her first lead which was though short-lived. She was then seen playing a recurring role in ‘Murphy Brown.’ She also gained recognition her roles in films, including ‘The Event,’ the drama film, ‘James and the Giant Peach,’ the musical fantasy film, ‘Miracle on 34th Street,’ the Christmas fantasy film and ‘Music of the Heart,’ the musical drama.
