James Cameron Filmography
James Cameron is a well-known American film director and writer best known for directing some trendsetter films such as ‘Terminator’, ‘Titanic’ and ‘Avatar’. He started his career as a VFX artist for science fiction films during the late 70s and directed his first film ‘The Terminator’ in 1984. The film became an international rage and immediately catapulted James Cameron into a star Hollywood director. The most notable directorial ventures of James Cameron are ‘Titanic’, ‘Avatar’, ‘The Abyss’, ‘True Lies’ and ‘Rambo: First Blood part II’.
James Cameron has always been known as a perfectionist and he takes his own time to work on his films. Known for taking multiple retakes to get the best out of his actors, he is one of the few directors with almost a hundred percent track of churning out successful films without any recorded failure. Although he has always been a maverick director, ‘Titanic’ and ‘Avatar’ are known to be his best films and are also considered two of the greatest cult classics in the history of American films.
Presently, he is working on his dream project, which is to bring out four sequels to his 2009 classic ‘Avatar’, which are slated to get released in 2020 and subsequent years.
