Frank Machin is a coal miner from Yorkshire, who gets into a fight at a club, shortly after which he finds himself being recruited for a rugby team. Despite his lack of knowledge of the game, his aggressiveness and brutality impresses the owners of the team. Over time, he becomes quite successful on the field, but he still finds his life to be quite empty. Therefore, he tries to begin a relationship with his landlady, a widow, hoping that it will give him a reason to live.

Gerald and Rupert are best friends, and they both fall for two sisters, Gudrun and Ursula. While Rupert marries Ursula, Gerald begins a relationship with Gudrun. After some time, they decide to go on a honeymoon to Switzerland, but their relationships begin to go in different directions. Rupert and Ursula give themselves to one another, while Gerald is not able to commit fully to Gudrun.

During World War II, in England, a man named Barton deserts the army and finds refuge on the farm of Alice. With Alice’s help, Barton hides under the disguise of a woman named Cathy. When a local sergeant takes interest in Cathy and invites her to a party, tragedy is waiting just around the corner. 

Hopscotch is an adventure comedy film which tells the story of a CIA agent Miles Kendig, who retires after being tired of a desk job under incompetent superiors. He journeys to Australia, where he writes a memoir that is sure to embarrass his superiors. Within some time, the CIA is out to nab him, which forces him to go on the run.

After not seeing his younger friend for a long time, documentary director Steve James decides to catch up with Stephen Fielding, a boy from Illinois, whom he once mentored. However, Fielding is no longer the nerdy kid he once knew, but is now a damaged adult who is convicted of serious crimes.  

Sunday Bloody Sunday is a drama film which tells the story of a bisexual artist named Bob Elkin, who begins a polyamorous relationship with a divorced woman named Alex Greville, and a middle-aged doctor named Daniel Hirsh.

Due to a mishap on a movie set, the assistant director Joe Blake is forced to contact the same group of extras who were present for the original filming in order to re-film the ending. He is forced to bring back all of them back to the set, which includes a struggling painter, a boxer, a rich girl, etc. The film shows how each of them are forced to deal with their own particular responsibilities, while getting the job done.

After being traumatized by the horrors of the First World War, Captain Chris Baldry returns home, but has completely lost his memory.  He is not even able to recognize his own wife Kitty, and his memories with her. However, he remembers and seeks a union with his former childhood lover, Margaret Grey. Although Kitty employs a psychiatrist to help him, she fears she may have lost him for good.

The Nelson Affair is a historical drama film which depicts the relationship between Admiral Lord Nelson and his mistress Lady Hamilton during the era of the Napoleonic Wars.

The candidates are narcoleptic 83 years abstinence proponent Esther Brill, White House aide Gloria Burbank, Isabella Garnell, who hates materialism, and Dr. Harold Gainey, a salesperson. Soon scandals, underhanded tactics, and corruption threatens to undermine the whole operation. 

This comedy film revolves around an American widower and an English divorcee who meet during a vacation. They soon find themselves attracted to each other, and get married. However, shortly after, the marriage loses its bloom, but they still can’t seem to leave each other.
