Two days before his marriage, Doug Billings travels to Las Vegas with his best friends Phil and Stu, and his fiancée's eccentric brother Alan, to have a wild bachelor party. Waking up with severe hangover the next morning, his friends find Doug missing, while their suite is occupied by a chicken, a tiger, and an unknown baby.

A small time pot dealer, David Clark, finds himself in a huge debt after his cash and stash are stolen. He must now bring a drug shipment from Mexico to the US. To do so without arousing suspicion, he creates a fake family by persuading his neighbour, customer and a teen. 

A young Dewey Cox accidentally kills his brother with a machete. The trauma makes him develop an affinity for playing blues. Dewey grows up to become a drug-fuelled, alcoholic, but massively successful musician. While a final machete duel with his father awaits him, he must also sort through his messy life to find what really matters.
