Clint Eastwood Filmography
One of the all time best American actors and directors, Clint Eastwood started his acting career with ‘Revenge of the Creature’, a low budget 1955 B-film. Starting from a small role, the multiple times Oscar-winning actor went on to star in many successful films such as ‘The First Travelling Saleslady’ and ‘Escapade in Japan’. From then on to doing some of his career’s best films in the 60s, Clint became a super star in his own right and worked in notable films such as ‘The Good, the Bad and the Ugly’, ‘The Beguiled’ and ‘For a Few Dollars More’.
Clint Eastwood shone in the spaghetti westerns in the 60s and 70s and particularly, his collaborations with director Sergio Leone struck gold many times. Some of the best Clint Eastwood films in his early career are all westerns, helmed by either Sergio or some other directors in that genre.
That being said, Clint Eastwood has faced failures too on a number of occasions. Although there are very few among them, but some of Clint Eastwood films that did not work magic are ‘Paint Your Wagon’ and ‘Sudden Impact’. In his later career, he took on directing and some of the most recent notable of his works are ‘Million Dollar Baby’, ‘Mystic River’ and ‘J. Edgar’.
