Charlie Sheen Filmography
Charlie Sheen is an American actor who followed his passion for acting very early in his life. He made his debut as an actor in 1984 with the film ‘Red Dawn’. What followed was a range of roles in television films and low-profile flicks. Sheen’s film career got its first breakthrough with Oliver Stone’s Oscar-winning epic ‘Platoon’. It proved to be the biggest success in his early career and led to him being cast in several top grossing films of the decade such as ‘Wall Street’ and ‘Born on the Fourth of July’.
He repeated his success story with some of the best works of his career such as ‘Young Guns’, ‘Major League’ and ‘Hot Shots!’. Sheen’s brush with success however, did not last long and from mid-1995 his professional success nosedived as his films underperformed. ‘The Arrival’ and ‘The Shadow Conspiracy’ were major box office flops. In the new millennium, Sheen’s ‘second-inning’ career did a revival of sorts with the super-duper hit television series ‘Spin City’. It brought the best out of Sheen yet again as he donned some of his career-best roles in ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ and ‘Two and a Half Men’.
