Andrew Garfield Filmography
Andrew Garfield famous as Andrew Garfield, is an Anglo-American actor who set the ball rolling for his career by first appearing onstage transitioning to the small screen, and finally debuting on the silver screen. His first major break came when he was selected to enact ‘Todd Hayes’ in the Hollywood drama war movie, ‘Lions for Lambs’ where he shared with the likes of Tom Cruise, Robert Redford, and Meryl Streep.
Though ‘Lions for Lambs’ performed poorly at the box-office, the movie turned out to be a springboard for Garfield to help him land roles in films. He appeared in movies like ‘The Other Boleyn Girl’, and ‘The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus’ both of which were commercial failures. However, his heartrending performance as ‘Tommy D’ in ‘Never Let Me Go’ merited him the 2010 Saturn Award for ‘Best Supporting Actor’.
His immaculate portrayal of Eduardo Saverin, Mark Zuckerberg’s (creator of Facebook and enacted by Jesse Eisenberg) close friend in ‘The Social Network’ is considered one of his best roles, earning him two prestigious nominations. The turning point in his career came when he was picked up to play the protagonist ‘Peter Parker’ in ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’.
