Varli Singh Bio

Varli Singh is a popular TikTok star who has more than1.4 million fans on her TikTok account. She mostly posts comedy skits featuring her daughter Deez. In a number of these posts, the two can be seen duelling over food. She initially began with a series of prank clips and music videos that included her kids; however, it was her video meme series Don’t Fear, Varli Is Here that really increased her popularity on the platform.

Earlier, she reviewed food guides like Zagats, the New York Times and Michelin reviews and came to a conclusion that Indian restaurateurs and chefs needed more recognition. She launched the Varli magazine with an aim to help people explore and stay updated about the Indian cuisine. The magazine includes restaurant reviews, talks with master chefs, food industry news and various Indian recipes.

In 2011, she began the Varli Food Festival to increase awareness about Indian cuisine. Prominent Indian chefs from all over the world have participated in the annual event. A couple of years later, in 2013, Varli Singh launched an exclusive kid only festival. In between, in November 2012, she launched the Varli Culinary Awards. Additionally, she also launched VarliWare kitchen equipment.

Meanwhile she also launched her You Tube channel Varli.tv in October 2010. The channel, with over 29.7K subscribers, features interviews with celebrities as well as videos of Varli food festivals and culinary awards. Her more recent posts have been her vlogs, shorts, music videos (of her singles) and films. As a singer, she has released numerous singles including Hero, I Am That Power, Last Goodbye, Imma Be a Bitch and Rag Doll. Her short films include Play Date and You are Next.

Varli Singh was born on 15th November 1977 in Cairo, Egypt to Indian parents Malwinder Kaur and Sukhwinder Singh. She has two siblings – a brother and a sister. She grew up in different parts of Asia and Middle east and later spent several years in Texas before finally moving to New York.

She has two daughters named Diya and Samaira.
