Niomi Smart never planned to venture into a social media career! She was a brilliant student at school and aspired to be become a lawyer on growing up. In fact, the smart young lady is an alumnus of the University of the West of England (UWE, Bristol) from where she earned her law degree in 2013. But weirdly enough, becoming a qualified lawyer did not give her the satisfaction she craved for. She longed for a creative outlet and formed her blog, formerly ‘LadySmart’ and currently ‘NiomiSmart,’ on August 31, 2013. Here she started posting her views on topics like health, food, fashion, beauty, and travel. Her eloquent style of writing combined with her mesmerizing photographs attracted hordes of readers to her blog, making her a popular blogger within a few months.

In 2014, she became active on YouTube as well and started to post videos to her hitherto dormant account which she had started a few years ago in 2011. Her fans were very happy to see her videos, and it did not take her long to build a huge fan base on YouTube too. Though she posts on a wide range of topics, some of her most popular videos are the ones on her beauty routines. Her morning routine videos and make-up tutorials rake up thousands of views within hours of getting posted! A vegan, she primarily eats a plant-based diet to maintain a fit and healthy body. Owing to the massive response generated by her recipes, Niomi Smart decided to write a book and she turned an author with the release of her book ‘Eat Smart,’ in late 2016.

Personal Life

Niomi Smart was born on May 26, 1992 in England. She was raised by a single mother until she was about 11 years old. Eventually her mother remarried and Niomi gained a step-father. She first became acquainted with future YouTuber Marcus Butler while in school and the two became friends. They started dating after a while but the relationship did not last long. Unlike some other YouTubers who have very emotional and public break-ups, Marcus and Niomi ended their relationship in a very private and dignified manner.
