Nathan Sharp Bio

In 2012, Nathan Sharp turned his passion for music and gaming into a string of YouTube music videos consisting of parodies of famous songs to apply to his favorite video games, especially Pokémon. In 2014, he started his channel ‘NateWantsToBattleGames.’ Besides the music parodies, he also posted gameplay videos and vlogs. With time, he began creating unique cover versions of his existing video game tracks and anime music videos. He eventually started composing his own music as well. He is very popular as a YouTuber and has accumulated over 470,000 subscribers.

After releasing numerous compilation albums of his video game songs, Sharp released his debut original album titled ‘Sandcastle Kingdoms’ in 2017. It charted on iTunes and Billboard. He then helped launch an independent record label called "Give Heart Records" and also joined the bands "Ghost Fight” and "Roll For It". He came up with his second original album titled ‘Paid in Exposure,’ which was released on June 1, 2018.

Sharp also works as a voice actor. He has done voiceover work for many anime series including the indie animated series ‘Bloodline.’ In 2018, he announced that he would be creating a new D&D show under the name "Dark & Dicey”. He also played a guest role as cowboy Mason on Holly Conrad's D&D series called "Trapped in the Birdcage".

Nathan Sharp was born on March 1, 1989 in Virginia, USA. Since his father was in the military, his family moved around a lot. When he was a young boy, he moved from Virginia to Florida.

Sharp got engaged to fellow voice actress Cristina Vee. However, after less than a year of dating, the couple split up in 2018. Sharp has also previously dated YouTuber Morgan Want. He is good friends with many gaming YouTubers, including ShadyPenguinn and Hunter Hughes.
