The Meteoric Rise to Stardom
She delved into creating her YouTube channel ‘IISuperwomanII’ in October 2010 and there was no looking back after this for the mesmerizing diva. The channel that she created as a mere hobby turned into one of the most popular ones in just six years garnering more than a billion views and making her earn in millions as a professional vlogger. The videos she posts, that predominantly encompass comedic skits related to subjects such as how girls get ready and the way young adults communicate with parents, often portray Punjabi culture. Paramjeet and Manjeet, her fictional parents featuring on her popular series, are performed by her only.
She is also well-known for her motivational videos. Singh also documents her meetings with celebrities like The Rock, Shay Mitchell, Ariana Grande, Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit and Kareena Kapoor among others. In July 2016, she started a talk-show series where she converses with renowned and inspirational people. Singh has been featured on ‘Globe and Mail’, ‘Zee TV’, ‘HelloGiggles’, ‘OMNI’, ‘The Comedy Network’ and ‘Metro’.
A second YouTube channel titled ‘SuperwomanVlogs’ was created by her in December 2011. Initially she posted videos in the channel and from August 2014, she started posting daily vlogs that basically accounts for her daily activities. By August 2016 the channel garnered 1.6 million subscribers and around 163 million views.
She is also a fabulous rapper and has individually, as also in collaboration, released songs and music videos. This multi-talented personality has also delved into films performing as a bhangra dancer in ‘Thank You’ (2011); doing a cameo in the song "Mauj Ki Malharein" in the film ‘Gulaab Gang’ (2014); playing herself in ‘Dr. Cabbie’ (2014); and voicing Bubbles/Misty in the animated film ‘Ice Age: Collision Course’ (2016) among others.
Singh, an enthralling live performer, commenced on a world tour titled ‘A Trip to Unicorn Island’ in March 2015 performing music and comedy. The tour covered 27 cities across nations including India, US, Canada, Dubai, Australia and Singapore among others. She documented the trip and released her first feature film of the same name on February 10, 2016, on YouTube Red. She has also done many videos in collaboration with fellow YouTubers like Jenna Marbles, Colleen Evans, Grace Helbig and Ryan Higa.

She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology in 2010 from York University.
